6º Domingo de Pascua -10 de mayo de 2026

 « Si me amáis, guardaréis mis mandamientos. »

Estamos entrando en la fase final del tiempo pascual y preparándonos para la solemnidad de Pentecostés. Por eso, Jesús continúa su discurso en tono de despedida. Pero en sus enseñanzas, cada frase está llena de amor y esperanza. Jesús comienza diciendo: «Si me amáis, guardaréis mis mandamientos». Amar a Jesús no es solo expresar sentimientos. Amarlo y seguir sus mandamientos exige acciones concretas. Muchas veces queremos amar a Jesús solo con palabras bonitas, cantos piadosos y oraciones elaboradas, a veces sin verdadero sentido. Por eso Jesús sigue preparando a sus discípulos para guardar y vivir su Palabra. Es importante que su Evangelio moldee sus corazones para continuar su misión.

Luego Jesús hace una promesa profundamente consoladora: «Yo rogaré al Padre, y Él os dará otro Defensor». Jesús pide al Padre que envíe al Espíritu Santo para ayudarnos y revelarnos la verdad. Él conoce el corazón humano y su soledad; sabe que sin su presencia nos sentimos vacíos, perdidos y cansados. Por eso promete el Espíritu Santo, el Defensor. El Espíritu Santo nos sostiene, ilumina, consuela y fortalece. Es la presencia de Dios en nosotros. Es Él quien nos levanta cuando caemos y cuando la fe se debilita. Es el Espíritu quien nos ayuda a seguir adelante cuando todo parece no tener salida. Los discípulos estaban asustados e inseguros, pero Jesús les asegura: «No os dejaré huérfanos». Él confirma que siempre estará con nosotros. Solo necesitamos confiar y seguir sus mandamientos.

El Evangelio también habla de una presencia invisible: «El mundo no me verá más; pero vosotros me veréis». Ver a Jesús no es solo con los ojos físicos, sino reconocerlo con los ojos del corazón. Quien ama puede percibir a Dios en los pequeños gestos: en una palabra sencilla, en la fragilidad humana, en un gesto de cariño, en la sonrisa de un niño. La fe nos enseña a ver más allá de las apariencias y a tener una mirada compasiva y amorosa.

«Yo estoy en mi Padre, y vosotros en mí, y yo en vosotros.»
Aquí está el centro de la vida cristiana: la comunión con Dios. Él habita en nosotros; no necesitamos buscarlo en cosas extraordinarias. Jesús nos invita a mirar dentro de nosotros y reconocer su presencia en la vida cotidiana. Esta presencia amorosa fortalece nuestra fe y fidelidad al Evangelio.

Jesús concluye con estas hermosas palabras: «Yo lo amaré y me manifestaré a él».
Jesús se revela a quienes abren su corazón. Quienes lo aman y guardan su palabra permanecen unidos a Él y sienten su presencia consoladora.

En conclusión, el Evangelio nos recuerda que no estamos solos ni abandonados. Somos morada de Dios. Y cuando dejamos que Cristo viva en nosotros, nuestra vida se convierte en un signo vivo del amor divino en el mundo.
