The Saint François Coll Vicariate is embarking on a new chapter with the establishment of its new Government Team for the 2026–2030 term. The team is called to continue promoting fraternal life, communion, and the evangelizing mission of the Dominican Sisters of the Anunciata in the communities of Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, and Rwanda.

The appointment was made by the Prioress General, Sister Ana Belén Verísimo García, at the Vicariate’s headquarters in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. Sister Beatrice Anzie, General Councillor, was also present to accompany her during this important moment in the life of the Vicariate.

The new Government Team is composed as follows:

  • Superior of the Vicariate: Sister Priscille Uwizeyimana
  • First Councillor: Sister Cécile Tonde
  • Councillors:
    • Sister Hortence Okaingni
    • Sister Odette Fidèle Ngo Mbog
    • Sister Ablawa Marthe Abadahoue

We express our heartfelt gratitude to the outgoing members of the Vicariate Council for their generous commitment, dedication, and service throughout these years. Their commitment has contributed to the growth of the Vicariate and helped keep the charism of the Dominican Sisters of the Anunciata alive in the communities and in the various apostolic settings of these five countries.

To the sisters taking on this new responsibility, we wish a fruitful term, lived in a spirit of fraternity, attentive listening, discernment, and shared responsibility. May the Lord accompany and enlighten them in their service, strengthening communion and fidelity to the charism of the Anunciata, following in the footsteps of Saint Francis Coll.

We accompany the new Superior of the Vicariate and her Council with our prayers, asking the Holy Spirit to enlighten and sustain them in this mission of service. May Mary, our Mother, and Saint Francis Coll accompany them on this journey and help them live out their commitment to the service of the sisters and the evangelizing mission with joy, hope, and generosity.
