The International Union of Superiors General (UISG) presents the initiative “Transformed by Hope”, a spiritual proposal that invites people to live the season of Lent as a path of listening, discernment and renewal in the light of the Sunday Gospels.
Promoted by the theologians of the UISG, this initiative was born from the desire to accompany communities and all those interested on a journey of reflection that helps to deepen their experience of faith, placing the Word of God at the centre as a source of life and transformation. In harmony with the horizon opened by the Jubilee, the proposal seeks to extend its grace, encouraging people to continue living the Christian vocation as a pilgrimage of hope amid the challenges of our time.
Throughout the weeks of Lent, each reflection offers a key for contemplating a concrete aspect of the conversion to which we are all called, allowing ourselves to be guided by the Spirit on the journey towards Easter. It is a space that invites us to review the way we believe, live communion and participate actively in the mission of the Church, through a faith that is incarnate and committed to reality.
“Transformed by Hope” thus offers a spiritual journey that encourages us to embrace evangelical hope as a force capable of renewing hearts, relationships and communities, and of generating concrete gestures of fraternity, justice and service.
From this space, we join the invitation of the UISG theologians and accompany this Lenten journey that seeks to encourage and sustain the spiritual life of all who take part in it.
For this reason, we share the link to the full text of the reflection.
