In Bonoua, All Saints Parish experienced a memorable day on Saturday, 12 September 2026, on the occasion of the religious life jubilees of four Sisters. The solemn Eucharistic celebration, presided over at 10:00 a.m. by Reverend Brother Jean-François NIAMKE of the Order of Preachers, brought together the faithful, families and friends in an atmosphere of joy and prayerful reflection.
Above all, this celebration was a moment of thanksgiving to God for the fidelity and total self-giving of three Sisters who are celebrating 25 years of religious life (Silver Jubilee): Sister Françoise GOUANNIN, Sister Nathalie DOSSOU and Sister Agnès GOA.
The parish also honoured Sister Ana María Castaño, who is celebrating 60 years of consecrated life. Her Diamond Jubilee is a remarkable testimony to the perseverance and fidelity that have marked her journey. Over the decades, she has touched many generations through her witness of faith and her pastoral dedication.
Enriched by hymns and the active participation of the faithful, the liturgy highlighted the value of self-giving and perseverance in one’s vocation. In his homily, the celebrant recalled that these jubilees are “a living sign of God’s fidelity and of the fruitfulness of a life given in service.”
The celebration continued after the Eucharist with a time of fraternity and sharing, during which families, friends and parishioners expressed their gratitude and affection to the jubilarians.
These jubilees are a beautiful sign of God’s fidelity and of the perseverance of his servants in following Christ. They remind us that consecrated life remains a source of hope for the Church and for society, and invite each person to renew their commitment to the faith and to walk confidently along the path of the Gospel.
