From January 12 to 14, 2026, the religious community of Lézignan-Corbières will experience days of deep spirituality with the visit of the relic of Saint Francis Coll, founder of the Dominican Sisters of the Anunciata. This significant event will bring together the sisters of the community, parish faithful, and local residents, who will take part in various religious celebrations.
The official welcome of the relic will take place on Monday, January 12, with a solemn procession to the chapel, accompanied by hymns and a welcoming address by the prioress of the community. In the days that follow, lauds, vespers, community Masses, and moments of meditation will be held, reflecting on the Gospel message that calls believers to be “the light of the world and the salt of the earth.”
One of the most meaningful moments will be the veneration of the relic, offering participants an opportunity to express their faith and gratitude. Fraternal gatherings after the Eucharist will also encourage fellowship and dialogue.
On Wednesday, January 14, the relic will be brought to the parish church, where a Mass open to the entire population will be celebrated. A farewell prayer will conclude these days of grace, helping participants rediscover the spiritual and missionary legacy of Saint Francis Coll.
