{"id":65080,"date":"2025-06-15T00:05:23","date_gmt":"2025-06-14T22:05:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dominicasanunciata.org\/?p=65080"},"modified":"2025-06-14T18:10:37","modified_gmt":"2025-06-14T16:10:37","slug":"solemnity-of-the-holy-trinity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dominicasanunciata.org\/en\/solemnity-of-the-holy-trinity\/","title":{"rendered":"Solemnity of the Holy Trinity"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #008080;\"><b>\u00abThe Holy Trinity: Mystery of Love and Unity in the Work of Salvation\u00bb<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After Pentecost, when the Church celebrated the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles, we now contemplate the mystery of the Holy Trinity: one God in three Persons \u2013 Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first reading presents the Wisdom of God as an active person in creation. In the Old Testament, God reveals Himself to Moses as the faithful God, the One who sees His people\u2019s suffering and intervenes to save them. Psalm 8 exalts this divine greatness, marveling at the attention God gives to man, despite his smallness in the face of the universe\u2019s vastness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since God chose the Jewish people to make His name known and since the Lord Himself was Jewish, an important question arose: Should the Gentiles first adopt Jewish customs? Some, proud of their Abrahamic lineage, believed they held exclusive rights to salvation. But St. Paul strongly affirms that justification comes from faith, not from legal observances. Jews and Gentiles are reconciled in the one Trinitarian grace: \u201cThrough Christ, in the Spirit, we have access to the Father.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Gospel shows Jesus announcing His Passion to His disciples. He promises them the Spirit of truth to guide them toward the fullness of revelation. After His Resurrection, He sends them to baptize all nations \u201cin the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.\u201d To celebrate the Trinity is to worship one God: Father as Creator, Son as Redeemer, and Spirit as Sanctifier.
